University of Alabama at Birmingham: Paid Research Study

You may be eligible to participate in a paid research study led by The University of Alabama at Birmingham to validate the accuracy of the blood pressure readings from the Higi Smart Health Station. If you choose to participate, trained observers will take your blood pressure measurements using both manual and automated devices. Higi has met FDA and MDSAP qualifications for its Higi Health Stations since inception but strives to meet new requirements as they are issued.

• The study should take less than 1 hour to complete. You will be compensated with a $75 gift card for your participation in this study.

• Blood pressure readings will be taken at the UAB Hypertension Clinic: 933 19th St S, Community Health Services Bldg., Room 115 Birmingham, AL 35294.

• The proper COVID-19 precautions will be followed.
